Rats - Invisible threat
Rats and mice are adapted to live in close proximity to man and livestock, but are nocturnal and live in concealed places. They are able to adapt their activity to the environment in which they live and therefore usually only appear only once man has left the area. They often burrow outside buildings, e. g., under shrubs or piles of debris. Rat infestations are usually underestimated.
